In his first day in office, he confessed that the members of staff
‘made it happen’ for him to be on the seat, noting that there could not
be any university without the staff. The son and great grandson of a
teacher, Prof. Gbajabiamila said that his being a teacher was not by
accident and that the reason he had come to add value to Crescent
University, is the same reason his grandfather started Ansarud Deen
Society in his family compound in Isale-Eko, Lagos State in the 1930s.
