Rafa Benitez urges Liverpool to focus on positives of finishing second

ESPN FC'S Gabriele Marcotti gives his take on Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool's notable transfers over the past two seasons.
Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has said current boss Brendan Rodgers can only improve the club's fortunes if he looks to the future rather than dwelling on the past.
The Reds are 11th in the Premier League and in danger of Champions League elimination at the group stage after a difficult first three months of the season.

Rodgers guided them to second place in the Premier League last season -- with a first league title since 1990 at one stage looking likely -- but has struggled to integrate a clutch of new arrivals into the squad.
He has also had to cope without last season's top scorer Luis Suarez, who was sold to Barcelona in July, and the injury problems that have dogged England forward Daniel Sturridge.
