Kenneth Okonkwo, popularly known as Andy in “Living in Bondage”, the movie that gave birth to Nollywood has declared that he’s no longer living under the shadow of the character he played in that pioneering movie.
The actor-turned-lawyer made this declaration while speaking at the glamorous awards night. Dressed in white outfit, Okonkwo said, “Thank God, I am no longer living in Bondage.”
The film, which signalled a new dawn for the Nigerian film industry brought Okonkwo into limelight after playing the role of Andy in the movie. He is now a barrister at law as well as an actor par excellence.
